One may replace the transmission springs with with an after market performance equivalent. In the case of the FA50 and FZ50 first gear clutch, measuring 29mm, Malossi clutch pring set 29 8747. You get 9 springs, 3 sets of 3, but you only need 2 out of each set for our purposes. Red are the least strong, blue are next, & black are the stiffest. Red are what you want for your ported & tuned stock set up or mild kit. Blue is for your wild kit, black if you're running a nitrous system.
Take off the kick starter.
Remove plastic dust cover.
Remove spring.
Remove all the screws. You might need an impact driver.
Remove case half. Don't unhook the kick starter return spring that is clipped to the inside of the other case half.
Remove nut. Use pipe wrench at your own digression. It's a good way to destroy the teeth on the gear. A piston stop would be much better.
Line up the clutch pads over the posts using a lever and gently tap them into place. 2 people is best.
Replace 2nd gear clutch, minding spacer order. One goes behind the clutch and one goes in front, right up to the circlip groove. The second gear clutch bell should well clear the teeth of the first gear clutch.
Replace all the screws. All the heads sould be sticking out the same distance if they are in the right hole.
Fill with oil, 800 ML of 10W40 or your lube of choice.

Hellou. So the second gear clutch should have a little movement on his shaft, aprox 0,5 to 1 cm? Because between the groove for the circlip and the 2 spacers (up the 2 clutch) are a space of aprox 0.5 cm on my Suzuki. Is it normal or my transmission needs something ?
